Windows Live Writer

I was just writing and publishing that last post about the further impressions I had of Windows 7 with Windows Live Writer and realized that it published the post directly, without asking me to add tags like the version I have on my desktop at home.

On the version at home, I will add tags to the post, as you can see by the cluster of tags on the right side of the website, but it always says I need to insert tags. I usually just ignore the warning and tell it to publish anyway.

But since I had to download Live Writer in order to post on my laptop, I haven’t had to do that.

Maybe the version on my desktop is older than this current one I am using. Will have to check into that once I am back home tomorrow evening. They look the same, but maybe there were some behind the scene fixes that I need to install on my desktop.

Oh well. I thought it was interesting and decided to post about it. Didn’t mean to bore you to tears! :-)

Sorry! :-)

So, I heard there was a beta version of Live Writer 3 available, so I updated to it, and I am having some fun!

The Tilting pictures are a blast! Plus, I can easily embed video now, where it was such a pain in the butt with the last version.

Hill Street Blues Pilot Episode

All in all, I would say Microsoft has done an excellent job with this update.
