My first assignment for my Creative Writing class is due as a draft on Monday. It is supposed to be 3 pages long, mine is 11. I guess I can’t really keep things short! LOL

Tomorrow I will be finishing my second week of the Spring semester at school, and so far there is only one class that I really like.
Make that two classes.
I really like Creative Writing and Business Law II. The rest of them are either driving me absolutely nuts, or are boring me to tears because even though they are business related, they are based on psychology, and I HATE psychology! And don’t even get me started on Algebra/Trig and Micro-Computer Apps! Those two courses, if they weren’t integral to my degree, I would quit them in heartbeat!
Also, there seems to be a change at the school. I haven’t been able to put my finger on it, but the whole “feel” of school has changed this semester. It’s like there is an aura of doom about it somehow, everyone just seems depressed and lethargic.
Maybe it’s just the fact that it’s so damned cold here, and the snow is flying like crazy!
I’m not the only one who has noticed it, either. Many of the people I knew last semester have said the same thing. Something is just wrong at school this time.
Anyway, I am going to just have to slug my way through it, get those A’s, and get to the end of the semester as best as I can.
The Spring semester officially starts tomorrow, and I can’t wait!
My classes this semester are a little different than they have been for the past 2 semesters. I still have an algebra class (actually, it’s college algebra/trigonometry), and I am taking the second portion of Business Law, but the rest of my classes are all other areas I have never gone to before:
The best part of this semester, though, is the class schedule! My earliest class is at 10:00 AM! No more having to be up at 6 in order to get to class by 8!
Last semester was good. It was much harder than the first semester, but I still managed to get straight A’s, so I still have a 4.0 GPA. I am hoping I can do the same this semester!
For the next semester, Fall, I will be starting my foreign language classes (French) and my economics classes, and continuing my math classes. Then I will also need to finish off my general education requirement classes, so I will need to take some science and history classes.
I am going to have to track down all of the classes I have taken so far and compare them to the classes I am required to take and see what matches up and what doesn’t. There shouldn’t bee anything out of the ordinary for my degree, but I am thinking I had better make sure!
I’ve had a Twitter account for quite a long time now. In fact, I got my account not too long after Twitter first started.
How many Twitter posts have I done up to now? Three!
That’s right! I have done 3 posts on Twitter until this point. Obviously I didn’t exactly do anything with it.
But, that’s all about to change, because I now have it set up so that all of my posts from the website also post to Twitter. Now, every time I post here, it also shows on Twitter. This should boost my Twitter usage quite a bit!
Of course, I need to be able to increase my posts on this site as well, so now I might just have to start writing a little more!
And with school starting up again in about 3 weeks, I should have some more topics to discuss on this site, particularly with the Creative Writing class I am taking!
I am off to school again today! I am so freaking excited!! And my first class is at 9:00 and just happens to be Writing About Literature.
If this class is what I think it is, it’s going to combine two of my favorite hobbies: reading and writing!
Then I attend my first Business Law class at 11:00. I spoke with some people I work with who have taken the Business Law class and said it is actually a very interesting class, even if it is a very high level look at business law.
Who knows, if I like it well enough, maybe I will not only end up as an accountant, but as a lawyer as well! :)
Those are my only two classes today. Tomorrow is my heavy class schedule, where I will be going to Algebra, Personal Finance and Managerial Accounting, one right after the other.
The best part about today, though, is that I don’t have to go to work tonight! So I will have plenty of time to do any homework that will be assigned. And I can guarantee there will be homework!!
Anyway, I have about 2 hours before I need to pick up my nephew (who is also starting his college courses today), and I need to get to Wal-Mart before class to pick up some Coke (they only sell Pepsi at school, and I can’t stand Pepsi!)
Maybe I will write an update when I get home this afternoon. Depends, since I haven’t been to bed since getting off work this morning (didn’t want to risk not hearing the alarm and not getting to school on time!)
