Well, I have had a bit of an issue over the last couple of days that have seemed to become really big issues!

I actually wrote the previous post, about my new desktop, late Thursday night, and just got it loaded this morning by removing the picture, then going into my website directly (rather than use Live Writer) to add the picture and link for he picture back in.

For some reason, I am having issues with trying to get photos into my website using Live Writer. As long as there is a picture, I can’t post.

So, I have taken a long time trying to find the reason for my problem, and it is one of two possible files causing my issue, both of which I need in order for WordPress to work properly.

But, it’s nearly 2:30 in the morning now, and I just don’t feel like staying up all night (again!) in order to figure out what the hell is really going on.

Maybe I will be able to get it fixed tomorrow, maybe not. I can work around it if necessary, I am just hoping it won’t be necessary.

Small change to the site before school starts

I’ve made a small visual change to the site today. I removed the green bar at the top and replaced it with a red bar.

I did this because I was reading another site about 3-column WordPress themes and saw this read theme that I really liked. But… I don’t want the whole site to be red, just a portion of it.

I like this theme that I am using, I like the basic black and white scheme of it, but it does need just a bit of color, therefore I have made the original gray bar green and now red.

Next I will create headers that are blue, yellow,orange and purple, and then one that includes all of the colors at once, so that I can just change out the color whenever I want without having to load up an all-new theme every time.

In other news, I finally start my classes tomorrow. My first two classes are Economics and Psychology.

My schedule is such that I only have 2 classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, 4 classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 1 class on Fridays. And, fortunately, none of the classes are in the evening. Which means that on Fridays I am out of class at 10:00 and done for the rest of the weekend.

I’ve been looking over the books this weekend and have to say I can already tell I am going to have to do some serious studying if I plan to pass these classes, particularly the economics course. It’s an introductory course, and the very first chapter left me wondering what I had gotten myself into.

But, we’ll see how the courses go.
